How can I correctly see the .par files

I am trying to understand the .par files but I see garbled characters. Is there any specific encoding? I am particularly interested in the hawksky-bl.

Any garbled characters can be ignored. They are usually Japanese language characters.

Thanks a lot, the editor works fine with most of the files. Unfortunately it does not recognize the hawksky-bl.par file.

There are 2 editors to use. For FMS 2 beta 7 .par files, use the ParDesigner. It has about 25 parameters only.

For FMS 2 alpha 8 .par files, use the ParEditor.

I will take a look at the hawksky-bl.par and reply later.
