Newbi recommendations please

New to multirotor, I need a simple, stable, easy to fly sim to just retrain my fingers from prior 3-channel fixed wing. I have a 4 channel E-sky usb controller, but FMS download to W7 failed. I'm not going to worry about that and will instead try a download to an older XP laptop I've kept.

I need my controller configuration to be:

Left stick: throttle U/D, rudder L/R
right stick: pitch U/D, roll L/R

Any problems with what I want to do and any specific model or set-up recommendations? Again, I don't need an accurate or challenging sim. Just want to fly around easy training my fingers to the new pattern.

It should be OK on XP as long as you have a serial port defined for FMS 2 alpha 8.5.

Scarz site for FMS models (Google search it) has a quad that flies pretty well.

On one post here there is an easy fix to make it an X configuration quad.

Download problem solved with a reboot.
And I have the Hughes helo flying.

I don't know why I had to set "pitch" to the same lever as throttle. And no idea what "nick" is. But its working.
I'll stay with the helo for now because it seems to closely enough resemble my quad controls.
But I did find three quads on Scarz site and saved them to my computer. I'll mess with them later.
