Trouble loading landscapes

Just loaded FMS for the first time and I am running with Windows 7. It seems everything is working fine except I can only select one landscape (World.scn) Anything else does not load up....Any ideas???

Which version of FMS have you installed? When you select another landscapes from the Landscape folder (e.g. Islet.scn), do you see a preview picture of it?

I am running Windows Vista and having the same problem. I have FMS v. 2.0 Alpha 8.5. I do get a preview picture when I click on landscapes, but when I select a new landscape, the landscape doesn't change.

I also have the same problem. Landscape preview works, but selecting a landscape doesn't change anything. Using Vista with Nvidia graphics card.

After you select the new scenery, try closing and opening FMS again. Does the new scenery then appear?

It sounds like a permission issue. Are you and FMS running as Admin?

I am having the same issue on my windows vista. Nothing works except "world"
I got my fms as a free version when i purchased a Heli from xheli.com
Did you guys having this issue get a free copy with a purchase of a Heli/plane, or did you actually buy the Simulator(which comes with the transmitter/controller).

FMS is free. Version 2 alpha 8.5 is the latest since 2004.

The folks selling these packages are misleading you in that they are only selling you a controller.
