fms loads but my controller dont work

Hello can someone help me ive looked through an cant find anything my laptop picks up my controller but fms doesnt i cant find com ports anywhere to turn them on my controller is usb and i was told to come to this site to fms. fms loads up great i can load planes heli's and play with the keyboard but not with my controller can anyone help please??????

Do you want to provide a few more details ? A hint about what controller you're trying to use and what interface/cable you're using with it might be useful.

Then can you say what you've tried and exactly how it doesn't work e.g. have you tried calibrating it and what happens when you try ?
