Struttering display - Graphic problem

I have a amd 1000Mhz with a geforce 2mx and the frameratecounter says 85fps but everything still jitters ang strutters like i have 10fps.

I had that problem as well until I fitted a graphics 3D accelerator card, then the problem went away. Without a graphic card the cpu and motherboard hardware (DAC)are required to do all the work. Being 1GHz doesn't make all that much difference.

I noticed the same thing. I have a tnt2 card and the frame rate counter says 43 fps even though it doesn't look like it. I noticed that it's only the background that jitters while the model turns and twists smoothly. Is it like this for everone?

(For those who do not know: Both the geforce 2mx and the tnt2 are 3D accelerator cards.)
