FMS.exe Error/Closes

FMS.exe Error/Closes

Postby rckowal » Fri Nov 23, 2007 8:32 pm

My FMS 2 Alpha 85 has stopped working. It's been a few months since I last used it - it ran OK then. When I try to launch it now, it stops immediately with these error messages.

- FMS.exe Has encountered a problem & needs to close.

- Error Signature: AppName: fms.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: kernal32.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.3119 Offset: 00012a5b

- Exception Information: Code: 0x0eedfade Flags: 0x00000001 Record: 0x0000000000000000 Address: 0x000000007c812a5b

Module 1: FMS.exe Image Base: 0x00400000 Image Size: 0x00000000 Checksum: 0x00000000 Time Stamp: 0x2a425el9

Thinking FMS may have gotten corrupted, I tried uninstalling & reinstalling a fresh one - without any luck. I'm at a loss. What's wrong here & how can I fix it?

Help will be much appreciated.

All fixed... Gives self big kick, as I didn't have any serial devices when I built this PC, the ports were all 'disabled' in BIOS. Re-enabled now all working fine..woot :-)

That's great, glad to hear that you got it going.

You're not alone without serial ports. None of the newer (commercially built) PC's have them either so this is proving to be a common problem with FMS.
