Fms loads but my transmitter does work

Hello another newbie here so sorry in advance. I purchased a Honey Bee 4 Heli and with it I received a "Soft Dog" cable for connection to my USB port on my computer, also a flight simulator disc. by FMS. I successfully downloaded the program and it works fine... with my keyboard, but does not recognize my transmitter "remote".
Like others I have read about, I was told to come to this site to find help. My transmitter is an "E sky" PPM model 0404. I have went to control panel and I have calibrated my transmitter and still nothing. On the simulator- in analog controls the only two interface options there is to choose from are Joystick interface and Serial PIC-interface.
The Joysyick interface when you click on resources shows joystick 1&2 unavailable. Serial PIC-interface when you click on resources it shows- Port and it is set on COM1 and it also has Protocol- with two selections (1.) 9600 Baud / 0xF0= Sync & (2.) 19200 Baud / 0xFF Sync the one selected is the 9600 Baud / 0xF0+ Sync. Thats also what the transmitter is set on when I went to control panel to game controls.
I am at my witts end, I would very much like to use the flight sim. w/ my transmitter before attempting to fly my heli in hopes not to crash. Any one with any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks...

I have fixed my prob. all I did was connect my USB cable that come with my remote to a Multi USB Plug. Incase thats not the correct name for this item... it is a box on the end of a USB cable that allows you to plug multiple USB cables up at one time.. This litte box has some kind of hardware in it to make it somehow work on the simulator. If you can not get this to work on your problem, then go to this website and listen to the guy walking you through what you WILL HAVE to do ...

This worked wonders for me
