Similar problem, I think. Running Vista Home, and FMS doesn't seem to speak to the 0905A controller. It won't configure it -- nothing responds. Strangely, the 0905A works with another RC simulator, "RC Flight Master," which I suppose has the necessary drivers (or whaterver) for Vista. Any solutions?

Just google for the .dll file or retrive from XP..if you have a PC with XP.
In XP, if your PC is a system32...look in the WINDOW/ system32.
Just sent it to a zip then drag the zip out.
If your PC is a system64. You have to use the extended version
of that .dll file for system64.
Just put that file in the system32/64 folder.
Just drag it out of the zip and drop it in.
If your PC only has USB ports. You have to create a ghost comport
for those old type D-sub ports. You don't install anything.
You just tell your PC to add a comport in the device manager.
Once your PC assign a comport, you just write a little patch
with NOTEPAD.
There's plenty of threads that pretains to this problem.
FMS needs to recognize those old comports wheather it's XP or Vista

Smcxx66. Thanks for that . I have found the d3drm.dll file and that did not help.
I do have a copy of XP. But could you explain how to do this vertual PC bit.
The FMS I have is the purchased 'E-Sky' with the mock TX and usb lead.
I have updated the 'E-Sky' version to the latest.
The graphics is not Nvidea in the laptop.

Hi, advice please: can anyone advise me of the best, or any similar simulator software package, that will allow me to practice crashing my Sabre RC Helicopter in a less expensive and frustrating manner, I too am running Windows Vista.

Hi Flypopa.
You just install Virtaul PC in Vista. It basically crate a partition or a folder
so you can use another OS. You can assign memory,..etc.
5 to 10 gig is plenty for XP and FMS...you can set it so you can
increase more

i had the same problem
what you do is download the file , then after you right click on it and do open with, then click browse, then find fms and open it with that instead, you open the d3drm instead of the fms icon
