White landscape parts and non-displayed model parts

Got myself a new Acer 6592 laptop, and see that the 8.5 version displays very poorly on this pc. My previous one, an Acer 6460, was flawless, might even have had a very similar if not the same screen driver.

White triangles instead of landscape details, also in photo-landscapes I have downloaded. Parts of planes are not shown either.

Both pcs with XP, have reloaded the screen driver, reinstalled the program, tried all sorts of models and landscapes and program settings.

Anyone seen this? Hints very welcome. Thanks!

Same problem here, IBM T21, XP, Tx Esky 0404, FMS 2 Alpha 8.3.

Try this;
open FMS with Tx on
In FMS toolbar, click on Resolution|800x600
To get back press ESC.
Mine worked with that.

Also upgrade to FMS 2 alpha 8.5 at the FMS web site.

FMS 2.8.3 had some issues.

Thanks for the advice, but it didn't help turning the transmitter on before opening the program.
All works great on other computers, just not mine... I already have the 2.0 8.5 version with loads of great planes and landscapes.
