XP - d3drm.dll ??

I am trying to install 2.0 beta 7 onto a fairly new XP Home edition machine, that i have downloaded from the main page.

The following error comes up everytime" FMS.exe has encountered an problem and needs to close."

installed a virtual serial port and com port with registry edit from various other threads...

but can not find the "d3dm.dll" download file anywhere??... although the sticky post says it is not needed for beta 7, it is the only thing i have not done

please help... many hours searching

I believe that FMS 2.7 does not require a fake serial port or the DirectX 9 .dll.

Are there any more details with your error?

If you click [Start] [Run] and type dxdiag and hit enter, what version of DirectX are you running?

Any other details you can provide would help alot.

Simply visit the link given...this will help you in case of missing or downloading dll's.
and will repair it if it's got corrupted.
