Windows 7 - latest version not working

2.8 will not work with the new version of Windows 7. Anyone have it working and if so how? I would like it to use recent models. Thanks.

Hello

You have to do the same as for Vista:

1-Download D3DRM.DLL and save it to Windows directory
2- create a key in regedit (into the windows directory)
HIKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\
>> new key: SERIALCOMM
>> new string value: \Device\Serial0
>> modify: COMx

The latest problem is that HARDWARE directory in regedit is volatile so you have to create this new key everytime you reboot.
I partially solve this issue with an export of the regedit and I just need to import it after the reboot
