Throttle adjustment ??

Throttle adjustment ??

Postby Grits » Sun Jul 18, 2010 9:28 pm

Some of the models are moving before I add throttle. If I pull back hard on the throttle, the power just stops and wont come back until I restart the flight as if after a crash. Also, slowing down to land is almost imposssible.....
Can I adjust the throttle so the model just "idles" without moving??

Thanks
Andy

COMBUSTION motors must have some throttle to continue running and will shut off and not restart if throttle goes to zero, just like a real RC airplane. You can adjust trim if your controller allows it, or adjust throttle during calibration. Try increasing the wheel ground friction to keep the model from moving if it has too much thrust on the ground.

ELECTRIC motors can run to zero and restart without problems.
