Walkera WK2401 & Windows 7 & USB Cable

Hi guys

I have the Walkera WK2401 RC. i purchased the FMS USB cable that connects to the remote and the usb to my laptop. i am running windows 7 professional, 32 bit.

Win 7 automatically installs the driver for the rc when connected but when testing in the windows 7 joystick properties i dont get any results.
the rc does not work in FMS as well.

I am a newbie and really struggling, please assist.

The only connector I've seen for the Walkera is using SmartPropo http://www.smartpropoplus.com.

Can you provide any detail (part numbers?) on where you got the USB connector for the unit?
