wind speed and direction

Help, I cant seem to get my wind speed and direction in the simulation pull down .I do have thermal options .Ant body out there tell me how to retrive wind speed and direction?????????????????

If you mean the wind options don't exist in the Simulation menu then I'd guess you don't have Version 2 Alpha 8.5 loaded.

Steve :thanks ever so much for your informed information. What I did was delete my present fms and installed the newest version and BINGO there it was WIND SPEED and DIRECTION along with Gusts of Wind.One quick question : Do you know of any sites where I might be able to install more Gliders on my system??????.....Once again thank you so much for your qucick answer to my wind problem........Happy Computer Flying NYFDJERY Jerry
