hi i just bought a fms sim , it cant work saying that error code two...need help urgently ...

Same error here. Exact error is "Exception EComPort in module FMS.exe at 0008B728. Registry error (win error code:2) I am trying to get this program to run with ClearView using Windows 7. I also have the Phoenix simulator installed and running. Any ideas or am I just out of luck.

If you search for ecomport, you will find several posts.
A part of the FMS code requires a 9-pin or 25-pin serial COMx port to start.
It needs to be defined in the Windows Registry.
So, either create a virtual COM port entry or an actual one.
The easiest is to buy a USB to 9-pin serial converter and plug it in.
The cheapest is to use virtual serial port software or hack the registry yourself.
See this at the top of the Windows-Version section.
I have used myself and it works fine on a netbook I have.
