Vista, no background

Gday all
a mate has windows vista and when we run FMS the screen flickers, I reload scenery and it fixes it. Only problem is it is just a grey background so you can not see ground, trees or buildings. Any help please?

In the Vista flickering problem, others have found that editing the bottom image of the scenery file and changing it to a size that will not load, like 1x1 will fix the problem. It seems support for an inverted normal that used to work is not longer supported in the newer versions of Windows. -- ggunners
