RC model stuck

I'm new to RC but i already know a lot about it. I plan to purchase a HobbyZone Super Cub DSM, but i thought it wise to have a simulator first. I ordered a Dynam 4 channel USB interface from nitroplanes.com (which isn't here yet) and I downloaded FMS. I used the keyboard to get a feel for the program. I went and downloaded several FMS models, Gary Gunnerson's I think, and I tried to use them. The models that came with FMS work fine, but if I open one I downloaded, it seems to be stuck at full throttle and is completely unresponsive. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I downloaded the Super Cub one and I'd like to use it, so I need to know what's wrong with it.

You are trying to fly an FMS 2 alpha 8 model with FMS 2 beta 7. You'll need to save your models to another directory, uninstall beta 7 and install FMS 2 alpha 8.5 which will fly both versions of the models. -- ggunners

Go to "simulation " UN check...."Simulate empty tank " see if that helps.......It worked for me
