Recently installed FMS on new comp at work...Win 7 64 bit.. Worked after installing the .dll file but some models just sat there no response....Found the same problem with my XP comp at home ! Then i found if I initialized the plane with the throttle up a bit it worked.......... Finally I went to....... simulation..UN checked...."Simulate empty tank "........Fixed ! They ALL work now ! I've yet to try this with the win7 comp at work but I suspect that will have them working there too.

What you are describing is the effect of zero throttle with an combustion motor. Once turned off with zero throttle, they will not restart, just like real rc airplanes. So give it half throttle to start. Electric motors do not do this. -- ggunners
