Fms only working on 2 channels with hobby king conttroller

hi,

I bought a hobby king 6 channel simulator and fms software and cannot get any channels working apart from elevator and aileron.

I get no response from the controller in any calibration tests apart from joystick and then only 2 channels.

I am running xp home.
