How hard would it be to add a "cockpit view" option in the View menu?
The result should be similar to the "Chase Camera" view, except the viewpoint would be moved forward so that it appears to be inside the cockpit of the aircraft. That makes me think it wouldn't be very hard to add. (of course it looks easy to me - I'm not doing the programming!)
Just wondering...
