1) Under alpha 8.3, the wind works now for version 7 models.

2) The low throttle, or low lift problem for version 7 models from 8.2 has been corrected in 8.3.

3) Rotating the view with the numeric keypad is still a bug, it now pans instead of rotating however this only happens after you've pressed the "P" pause key. Rotates fine while not paused.

That's what I found on my short list of items I was tracking.

Anyone else. Did this fix any graphics problems?

My shadows are still white/grey, it's a bit annoying, but I'll put up with it - for now!

Go to Graphics/Options and set the Shadow: true alpha check box.
To the best of my knowledge, the default on all of the alpha 8.x versions has been with this setting being off, so with each new version, we need to change the setting for a dark shadow.

Hello,

the following bugs were removed in FMS Alpha 8.3:

- thermal winds now blow up and not down for Alpha 8.3 models
- thermal winds can be used with Beta 7 models (models no longer shoot into the sky)
- speed of Beta 7 models does not increase in curves
- you wont get a floating point error, if FMS loads a model with *.geo and not *.x graphic data on startup
