HELP ! I can't install FMS

Hi ,
I have used this program in the distant past and it worked fine .That was with Win 98 .I now use Win 2000 Pro and I get an error that says" Cannot allocate memory" when I try to install this program . My PC has plenty of memory ,a very fast video card ,and plenty of resources ,in fact more than when I used this program before on an earlier pc .

Any knowledgeable users out ,please give me an idea what's up . I have even cleaned up directories that windows like to put temp or default directories into ,to see if that would help .No change.
