Vista landscape graphics

im running vista 64 with a nvidia graphics card i've installed the beta 7 and the d3drm but when i run the program i have to turn the texture optons off due to a flickering screen giving me bad resolution and a nes feel to the game not to mention i cant load any other landscapes is there any fix to this problem or is it something i will just have to live with thanks to all who offer there knowledge
