I am using winxp home with a PP interface for JR. I get the errors "Unable to verify IRQ setting for LPT1. Please make sure an IRQ is assigned." and after it loads i get "UNABLE TO LOAD DEVICE: CODE 10". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to do a couple of things to make this work in Xp.
first you need to go into the device manager in the system settings in control panel. click on the properties of the lpt1 port and change the port settings to use any available irq.
If that doesn't fix it, go to Bios and change the parallel port to ecp. You may also have to change the settings from automatic to lpt1 (3f8). When I did this, I was able to install the parallel interface with ppjoy. Then the interface worked great.
