4 channel radio - 4 channel radio

Hello,

I'm building a interface cable for an old simprop transmitter, wich has a signal of 4 channels.

The interface does not work, is the reason the fact that their are just four signal's, and should their be eight?

Please help.

No, four channels is enough. My old 4-channel Futaba works fine. Is it possible that the trainer/buddy output of your transmitter is not the same as modern ones ? I have never seen or heard of a Simprop Tx so I don't know.

I've made lot's of cables for four channel transmitters. That is not the problem. But this is the first transmitter from wich the signal is just 4 channels and not the regular 8.
My question is, has the software limitations on receiving a 4 channel signal, or is their an other way to get this work.
If not, than I know for sure that it is not possible to use FMS with a transmitter wich gives just four channel signal.

Sorry I don't understand. What do you mean by "not the regular 8" ?

The 4 channel transmitters I've seen usually have four channel pulses per frame in the trainer signal. 6-channel have 6 pulses etc. Which 4-channel transmitters have you seen with 8 channels ?

FMS works with only 4 ch transmitters no problem. The likely causes of it notworking with this make is that the input signal level is too low or that the buddy box output is inverted to the norm.
