Parallel Port Interface for Win2K - Has anyone successfully done this?

I've tried downloading port drivers and whatnot, could not get this to work. Feeling kinda bummed out seeing as I bought the cord now I can't use it with my good system. Anyone who's made this work, please let me know.

Sorry, you can not use the parallel port under windows 2000. FMS trys to control the port directly and this is not possible as all control must pass through the HAL (hardware abstraction layer). This works to make the system more secure from hardware manipulation.

Have you tried PPJoy? I have it working under Windows Server 2003.
