Hi Everyone,
I've labored at this for probably 4 hrs now, so I give it up to you all. I made a PP interface to hook up to a tower 6FM. It works fine on my PC at home, but not on my brothers laptop. He is running Win 98 with 64 mb and a 366 pII. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, the bios is correctly setup (378, 7) and the cable is hooked up correctly.

Is the port type in BIOS set to EPP/ECP ? Some laptops only have unidirectional (SPP, output only) printer ports which won't work to get a signal IN from the Tx.

Ya, it was set to bi-directional, but I switched it to ECP, but still nothing
