aerochopper futaba conquest

I have downloaded fms to my windows xp desktop, downloaded ppjoy and installed as instructed, but when i try to calibrate the conquest, nothing happens. When I plug it in to the serial port, my mouse jumps around erratically. I also mapped as per the instructions. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hi, sorry to see that you are having problems. Let us try to put that right.
You mention plugging into the serial port - do you mean the com port or the USB port?
Once I know that, I can start working on a solution to your problem.
