works but doesnt

Hello,

my Smartpropoplus (brandbrand new version with icon tray function) doesnt work. Maybe you may help me, even if this question might be boring.
I'm using Win 2000 professionel, Line In, TerraTop FM Modul (so PPM).
After struggeling with the cable I managed to hear the weared sound which is changing with the position of the sticks. I used a 680Ohm resistor and z-diode 4,7 V. The jack is a stereo jack and the signal is on both channels.
When i start FMS and trying the properties of the joystick function some positions are blue but doesnt change at all. Every time i start again, positions of the blue have changed.
The last change was to put down all hardware support to the sound card... nothing changed..

HELP?!

Hi Ilja,
If you hear that sound then it means that the signal enters the PC. Now we have to see it on the virtual osciloscope. please refer to the troubleshooting section of SmartPropoPlus site. Once you have the wave pattern please send it over for inspection.
