Blade SR

Hi;

I'm a new flier and I just bought a new Blade SR RTF heli. I'm having issues getting my radio ( HP6DSM ) to work with my USB trainer cable ( GWFSM002B ) and FMS Version 2.0 Alpha 8.3. Everything installed fine, I can load FMS, the USB cable is listed in game controllers as PPM, but I can't get the my radio to work. I also installed HW Virtual Serial Port as I was getting a CTD running FMS without it.

Also, do I need to have power, other than batteries (these get pretty hot), when I turn on my radio while using FMS? Like I said, I'm new. I know nothing. But I've done everything as it should have been done. It's not rocket science... or is it?

My os is xp pro 64 bit. I have no com ports, only USB.

I just upgraded FMS to fms2alpha85 and still the same.
