please please someone give me the answer

hi all im new to the forum. right let me begin. around 2 years ago on my older computer i used to fly fms and thought it was great and i had brill fun with it. i have not played fms for a long time now. just recently i bought a new comp. so installed fms and all runs cool apart from the flickering on the screen. it does have nvidia graphics card and i have turned the texture off bu ti rally do need it on. reason being i have just bought a trainer and i am going to start flying this month and want to get practice on the sim so i need to see the landing strip etc. is there anyway to stop the flickering with out turning the texture off.
