Sanwa Tx cable

Sanwa Tx cable

Postby Fuzzy-Felt Bloke » Sat Jan 29, 2011 5:04 pm

Hi

I'm just learning to fly a RC fixed wind aircraft and would like to use FMS to help me along. I have a Sanwa (Airtronics) RDS8000 Tx and would like to use this with FMS on Win XP. I have looked around for a USB cable and the only one I can find is £30.00, is there anything cheaper as £30 for a cable is a bit much.

Thanks

Well it's not JUST a cable there are some electronics in there too ;).

Unfortunately Sanwa/Airtronics Txs are not very popular and use a slightly unusual connector so you don't see many specifically for them. If you're willing/able to solder a connector on yourself any of the EBay cables for around 10 quid will work with your Tx but I don't think you'll find many ready made versions.

For FMS, a USB transmitter for about $20 US may be a better option. Search for Dynam or Esky versions. -- ggunners
