Problem with new landscapes: Error: Floating point value...

Hello Everyone,

I just got started with FMS I downloaded some extra planes and landscapes from a person (nuttcase) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HK8CH2uC ... ded#at=482
who explanted on youtube how to do it..Very well, how he did that, I must say

The Airsplanes work well.

But landscapes is a problem (exept from training scenery)
When I put the data in FMS and am trying to load it, it will give me the following error:

Error: Floating point value: PiIot_position-172-130 0 ...

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this problem.
I am running an old pc, might that be it? 2,4 Ghz, 512MHz and and a Matrax mileninum G400 dualhead.

The pilot position is dependent on the "." as a decimal point. Sometimes it is in the file as a "," comma.

Also try a pilot position without decimal points.

One of those 2 should work.

Sounds that you go really in dept of the matery :-0
I have downloaded the latest version now, the 8,5 and it works perfect now.. Maybe the the sceneries were just not comaptible with the older versions..

I think by mistake you have place any dot or comma in the code, which is unnecessary , that why it is creating problems

What version of FMS are you running? The landscape programs are different for versions 7 and 8. Running the wrong landscape version will give you the floating point error.

I found that out as well. Installing the latest version (8,5) solved all the prolblems and allowes me to run every landscape and model
