Microphone interface not working

Hi guys,
Well, I just bought a flight sim cable for my new Futaba EXA which has the rare square port in the back. Anyway, the cable came with a microphone interface.
Now, I went to get my transmitter hooked up but FMS does not give an option for the microphone interface. It only gives an option for USB, Parellel, and PIC ports. So as a result I tried plugging the interface in anyways to all the microphone type ports I have in back of my pc hard drive but nothing worked.

Sounds like I can only use the keyboard

So, if anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!!!

P.S. If anything, is it possible to graft on a usb or parellel connector? Or won't that work?

The only way I know of to make use of a microphone cable, is by using the SmartPropo driver. This driver gets the data from your transmitter via the soundcard, and conver it to a standard joystick under control panel. As far as I know, it does work with WinXP, but other operating systems might not function correct.

Win 98 is better than XP for what you try to achieve.
Don't worry, ba happy...
Have a look at 'diagnostics and tools" under "Win. version"

hi guys,
well, I tried downloading Smartpropo but the icon we have to click in order to download it must not be working because it brings me to a page where it says "page cannot be found".
is there a different website or some other way I could try downloading it? Thanks again
