Decode PCM?

Is there a PIC chip program that can decode PCM?

The challenge here will be to divide the PICs program time between the stream of data comming in and the creation of data out. This might be possible if the timing of the PCM code is close to one of the serial data standards. Otherwise it will need a more advanced PIC that can manage serial data transfer in hardware rather than software as the PPM PICs use.
I also note that some systems have diferent PCM code standards.

If anyone has data on the PCM code format I'll be happy to investigate. :biggrin:

If G7RFM means what I think it means, then it was a pretty daft question for you to ask.
Who is going to waste time trying to get the PCM specs out of the manufacturers in the first place? Let alone trying to do anything with it.
