how do I connect an exceed-rc WK-2601 controller to computer

Downloaded FMS and works with keyboard. Now I want to connect my Exceed RC controller "WK-2601". I have a dell with windows vista and I also have the cable for the controller. Do I use mic in adapter or the USB adapter and how do I get the computer to recognize either or? Thanks for any help with this, I am not a computer guy so you will have to write so I can understand plain English.

Hi,

I found that the simplest way is to use the "mic" input on the sound card with SmartProPlus software. Check mgwerner's message that he posted in the "Joystick Interface" section on May 28th, 2008. He gives the url for the software and instructions.
