What transmitter ? What cable ? What version of Windows ?

If it was all recognised by Windows you should just need to calibrate it, first in Windows Game Controllers and then in FMS (as a Joystick Interface).

I am trying to use my ESky 4ch transmitter through a USB port (Belkin FSU219) on my Windows XP PC to use FMS. I have been to the FTDI website and downloaded the CDM 2.00.00 driver, but in Device Manager I cannot see a USB port configured as a COM port as I believe it needs to be. I've uninstalled and loaded the driver several times, but no joy.

nehal,

The USB serial port will provide the necessary COMx port defined in the Windows Registry. That's all it will do.

You then need to use a mono audio cable and SmartPropoPlus to connect your transmitter. This is virtually free.

However, a better solution is a dedicated transmitter to USB cable.

I prefer the dedicated sim controller from Dynam which costs about $20.
