I don't like the Logitech Rumblepad gamepad because the sticks are way too loose and offer no resistance - it's not much fun to fly with. It's also hard to set up because it has a slider control for the throttle. Instead, I bought the "InterAct Hammerhead 3DFX" 2 stick joystick gamepad at Staples for a closeout price of พ, normally ุ. It plugs into the joystick port, and uses 2 AAA batteries if you want the rumble feature to work. It looks just like the Rumblepad and has rumble, but it's 2 sticks are much stiffer. It doesn't have a slider, and you use the left stick for the throttle like you're supposed to. It sets up wonderfully and is fun to fly with. Leave the joystick in its mode 1 format that it installs in, because you don't have to tweak it for FMS. Instead, use the FMS software to assign the channels in order 1,4,3,2 to get Mode 2 2-stick control. You can easily set up all the FMS keyboard commands to gamepad buttons using InterAct's profile software (like zoom, view, auto inititate, hand or winch launch, etc.), and even assign different kinds of rumble feel to different events, like crashes. I'd highly recommend this gamepad for FMS, especially if you can buy it for พ.
