FMS Joystick

Hello everybody,

I have developed a joystick with an USB 2.0-HID interface, for use with RC Flying Model Simulators like FMS. It has two joysticks to control the Throttle, Rudder, Elevator and Aileron. You may also connect an external control to the PPM input. The joystick automatically detects a PPM signal, and switches control to it. However you may also switch manually between the internal joysticks and the external control.

Schematics, PCB, firmware, and assembling instructions are included, as well as a part list with part numbers from Conrad. It is based on the Microchip PIC18F4455, which unfortunately cannot be delivered by Conrad, so the Farnell part number is included for that.

The print is relatively easy to assemble, since no SMD parts are used, because PCB size is not really an issue. The case is big enough.

Hope you enjoy it! You find it here:
