settings for dx6i

I would like to know the exact settings for the DX6i in FMS. I am using the mic input from trainer output. Getting lots of action on the channels but calibration and mapping is difficult. Can someone tell me the exact mapping including ticks for inv/exp as necessary. What filter should be applied in Smartppp. Please be precise since I have tried almost everything.

1) I used line input
2) I used the top filter
3) I can get a solid response out of all channels except 1 and 3....when calibrating 3 it acts as if its mixed with 1. very moderate but not good never the less.

That's the closest i've come using my spektrum dx6. I have found nothing yet that resolves this issue. I may just buy the serial cable or the usb cable..Appearently the Smartppp isnt the best answer. reguardless of cost savings it just hasn't proved worthy for my needs.
