USB - Futaba 7C Radio (Mystery Cable)

Hi,

I purchased a "Mystery Cable" for my Futaba 7C radio. The cable fits and when I plug into my Dell, the dell says new hardware ready for use. So for so good.

I went to install the FMS from the CD, but it wont install. So I went to the FMS site and downloaded latest (Alpha).

The FMS sw does not see the USB controller at all.

I saw some instructions on this and that you're suppose to put USB on com3 or something like that, but my Dell (Win XP) doesn't have an LPT-USB section under the System Properties>Hadware>Device Manger as shown in these instructions.

I've seen a lot of these "Mystery" units being sold on ebay. I could really use someone's help in guiding me on how to get this done!!
