joystick 1 and 2?

joystick 1 and 2?

Postby spongyiq » Thu Jul 08, 2010 6:46 pm

I'm having trouble using the throttle and rudder functions of my radio. When i calibrate joystick, it only reads the ailerons and elevator as channel 7 and 8 but nothing happens when i move the throttle and rudder. However, when i go to ressources, it shows me 2 different joysticks. Joystick 1 and joystick 2. In this screen, when i move my throttle and rudder, the bars raise up and down. But my controls only work in joystick 2. Is there a way to select joystick 2?

I know that the throttle and rudder controls are responsive, but how do i fix it so i can use it in FMS?

Calibrate in Windows Control Panel first. Then select the Advanced button and make sure your controller is the preferred one.

After that, calibrate in FMS. It should work unless you have a very strange controller or interface.

You did not mention your radio type. Some for Helicopters have mixing turned on. It needs to be off to use with a SIM or you can create a SIM model in your model memory with zero mixing, etc.
