Audio/Microphone cable to controller?

Postby selit » Mon Jul 11, 2011 10:24 pm

Hi,
I buyed a "Wing-Dragon Sportster".http://www.nitroplanes.com/at-22023-wingdragonsportster.html
Unfortunatelly without a connection cable to PC.Manual shows full instructions how to connect rc controller with PC,with something which seems to be a normal autio cable to microphone port.Despite these instructions in manual seem to me a bit peculiar(I have never connecgted any device to PC thru microphone port),they are pretty much detailed and I followed them precisely, using my audio cable from my earphones. But it doesn't work and I am not able to callibrate controller-blue bars don't move.

Is my assumption (normal audio cable) correct?
If is,is there any difference between my 3 wire cable(and appropriate jack) and 2 wire jack shown in manual?
If this cable is not a normal audio cable and needs some modification, does somebody know how to build this cable?

Thanks a lot for any answer.

There is a lot of help at the SmartProPoPlus Site. Check out the procedure and the forum.

Also check the Sticky on this Forum.

You want the Mono cable with 2 wires. Your's sounds like a stereo cable with 3 wires.

You can buy a USB Sim-only transmitter for about $15.
