Need Help With Futaba Skysport 4.

Hello:

Need some help using my Futaba Skysport 4 with FMS.

I am using Version 2.0 Alpha 8.5 of FMS.

I am running Windows Vista.

My cable is an “FMS simulator” cable I bought off of Ebay.

The model I am using is a Wild Hawk model.: WildHawk Alpha 8.

So, the software & model worked fine, when I was only using the keyboard.

When I use my Futaba, the rudder does not work. The throttle & elevator work fine.

I have the rudder on channel 1 & the elevator on channel 2. Both on the right stick

The throttle is channel 3 on the left stick.

Once again, the elevator and rudder work fine. The rudder does nothing.

Any suggestions?

Jim, For all my 3 channel airplanes, I put the primary turning control on the aileron channel.

So the Wildhawk has the rudder on the aileron channel. You can change it in the .par if you like.

The rudder is called FIN in the .par file and is on channel 3, just change to channel 1.
