DX5e problems and startup problems

Postby Ivandim » Sun May 12, 2013 8:54 pm

Hi
I wanted to use my Spektrum DX5e with FMS but it isn't working.
I connected my DX5e to the computer thru it's trainer scket and a 3.5 mono cable to the computer's audio input
and i installed Smartpropoplus for FMS. Yesterday it turned on FMS with the cntroller but at the calibration window only responded to
three channels on the controller. today, whne i turned on FMS, the airplane just took off without any imput given from me, the keyboard or the conbtroller with wasn't plugged. When I plugged the controller and went to the calibration menu it didn't respond at all! I'm running on Windows XP
This is very frustrating and I would really love to have an answer pretty soon.
Thank you for your attention.

Hmmm... I am not sure of the question.

In using the audio cable, sometimes you can overdrive the audio input, some folks pad down the input or us line in instead of microphone.

You can use the PC oscilloscope to see how your waveforms are looking through the audio card.

If you do not have a transmitter plugged in then FMS uses the max settings. I think on my PC, I get full throttle and full left. Solution is to plug your transmitter in and restart FMS.

Sounds like you are very close. Keep trying. -- ggunners
