Why Does My File

I've built a Raptor 30 with Metasequoia, and the mqo file is 67kb, but when I convert to a x file it increases up to 2,574kb......

When I goto to use the GeoX software to convert into a geo file it crashes because the file size is too big...

How do I get a smaller sized file...........I'm stumped........Pleasee help.......

Hi

Have you used subdivision surfaces? Metasequoia supports these special 3d-splined surfaces, but these generate a huge number of vertextes, what results in big .x files and slow graphics in the FMS. If you want really to use this function, then please reduce the number of patches used to spline the surface.

Hey, thanx for the help on that...I went through every object and any spline surfaces became reduced or altered too flat....

File size dropped to about 190kb as an x. file...

Looking good too....
