I just finished an FMS model of the .

This is one sweet looking warbird that floats along real well, some say even better than the T-28 from the same group.

Overall Length: 35.0 in / 889mm
Flying Weight: 30.0 oz / 850g
Motor Size: 480 size 960Kv brushless outrunner
Props: 3 blade 8.7x6x3, 2 blade 9.5x7.5x2
Radio: Proportional 4-channel FM, A/R/E/T
Battery: 3-cell 11.1V 1800mAh LiPoly



If any of you get the chance to try it out, please compare it to
the stock Corsair and let me know what needs changing.

I just tried your plane. It rocks! I have never before downloaded for FMS.

Based on feedback from Corsair owners, the roll rate was too fast in the prior version of this model.

I dropped the antenna (2.4Ghz = no ant.), added some canopy struts and adjusted the roll rate and some minor adjustments to the 3D model.

BTW any chance of working your magic on the GWS P40?

So far modeling GWS airplanes is more difficult because there is no RTF standard for flight so I end up getting zero consensus on how the airplane should fly. Everyone builds them different.

In order to make a model I need 5 pictures.

pics 1 and 2 are left and right fuselage sides with wings, horiz. stab and elevator removed.

pics 3 and 4 are top and bottom with airplane completely assembled.

pic 5 is front view.

All pictures need to be at right angles using long lens (zoomed in) if possible to get rid of warped straight lines and if a tail-dragger, the tail propped up as in flight mode.

The Corsair took over 20 hours to complete.

This is a great plane. I just replaced the old corsair with the new one, and it is much better.
