screen flickering

I just got my simulator yesterday, and because I have vista, so I had to download the D3DRM.DLL, which I did, even that took a while, but I got all that done, got .dll fill installed into the windows system32, now,at least the program at least starts up, but the screen flickers, and the controls on the simulator don't respond.HELP

Take a look at the "compatibility fix" in forum "windows version". It did solve the flashing problem, which has bugged me, and others, for the better part of the last year.

I do however now have severe frame rate issues - only with FMS - any version.

I'm using Win7 64bit on a very fast I7 machine, so you may, or may not have the same problem, but the fix does correct the flashing.
