New ParkZone RAF SE-5a WWI Warbird

Hello simmers, Just finished this one up. She's a beauty.





Notes: Nothing's nicer than a World War I biplane to fly around
the paddock. The R.A.F. SE-5a was one of the first combat
airplanes for the more typical flying recruit. It had good
manners and good survivability. The scale realism is very
nice on this model.

A truly excellent model, well done!

The Se-5a is one of my all-time favourites, so thanks very much for this, I have really enjoyed flying it on FMS.

Edited. As I am just getting back into R/C planes after a break of some thirty years, this is one model I have been thinking of getting. I built three SE-5as back in the day (all glow models) but I am keen now to try electric, so flying your model has convinced me to get one. Great fun!

It looks gorgeous on my high-end gaming machine btw and flies very well, I can't comment how it matches the ParkZone version, but for me it matched the feeling of my old models very well.

El Sid, I am glad it is working for you. It may have a bit more rudder than some would like. But I do like to be able to snap into a spin on the older biplanes. It just seems that they should be able to do that. -- ggunners
