FPV POV

To go along with the chase camera there should be a FPV camera option since a lot of us are using that mode for flying (In real life)

The FPV camera position could be spec'd as a point relative to the 0,0,0 point on the .x model, in the par file. FOV could also be included to accomodate different lensing.

I'm with you on that one. I've just started using FMS and I was looking for an FPV mode tonight and didn't find one so I went looking on the internet and found your post.

Perhaps somebody out there knows how it might be done.

Well, anyone who can tell me where I can find the camera coordinates in .x model file when I open it in ParEditor... thanks in advance.

There is not an FPV mode in FMS. The camera position is set in the main FMS program and has nothing to do with the model files.

This, as the name (Flying-Model-Simulator) implies, is a simulator for radio-controlled planes, not the full sized ones. The chase camera is purely a bonus feature.
